Hansi Flick would allow Barcelona pair to leave in January

Ansu Fati and Eric Garcia are facing uncertain futures at Barcelona under manager Hansi Flick, as both players have struggled with injuries and limited playing time.

Flick has shown faith in La Masia's young talents, with promising performances from Marc Bernal and Marc Casado.

Fati, plagued by fitness issues including a hamstring injury, has played less than 200 minutes this season, despite being fit for parts of the campaign.

His return is expected next week, but Flick has warned both Fati and Garcia that with a fully fit squad, securing consistent minutes will be challenging.

Garcia, who has spent much of the season in midfield due to Bernal's season-ending injury, missed nearly two months of action because of fitness problems.

He started four consecutive matches in September but has since found his role more limited. Meanwhile, Casado has filled a more defensive position in Garcia's absence.

Though neither player is planning an immediate departure, both may reassess their futures in January or during the summer, depending on how the season progresses.

Flick has indicated that he would not block any player from leaving if they wish to pursue a move, highlighting the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Fati and Garcia's futures at Barcelona.
