Hertha boss Sandro Schwarz's job is safe after 5-0 loss to Wolfsburg

Hertha BSC head coach Sandro Schwarz's job appears to be safe despite the 5-0 thrashing his charges received at the hands of Wolfsburg on Tuesday.

This is according to the club's managing director Fredi Bobic, who insisted that Schwarz is in no danger of losing his job.

"For me, he is not even remotely up for discussion," Bobic told Sky.

Despite backing the coach, Bobic also made it crystal clear that Hertha's performance was abominable; especially the first half.

"The first half was the worst I have seen this season, and the players know that too," he added.

"We simply ran around without our heads."

Mattias Svanberg scored Wolfsburg's first in the fourth minute, before a penalty from Maximilian Arnold and a Jonas Wind strike made it 3-0 at the break.

Ridle Baku and Omar Marmoush completed the rout with a goal each in the latter stages of the game.
