After recovering from a hip injury, the talented midfielder impressed in his first Bundesliga start in nearly a month, contributing significantly with a goal and an assist.
The 21-year-old opened the scoring with a powerful header in the 26th minute, extending Bayern's lead shortly after Michael Olise's opening free-kick goal.
Musiala's performance earned accolades from Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl, who stated, "Jamal is an exceptional player, and that's why we want to extend his contract and make him the new face of FC Bayern.
"His unique dribbling ability elevates the performance of those around him."
Bayern coach Vincent Kompany echoed Eberl's sentiments, praising Musiala's impact on the team. "Every time Jamal is in the team, we have something extra. His special qualities are evident, but it's crucial to remember the team effort.
"Overall, it was a very good performance," Kompany said.
Harry Kane continued his fine form by scoring in the 58th minute, marking his ninth goal of the Bundesliga season. Leroy Sane and Kingsley Coman rounded off the scoring, securing a vital win that propelled Bayern back to the top of the table, overtaking RB Leipzig on goal difference.
Bochum, meanwhile, remain at the bottom with just one point, suffering a heavy defeat in Markus Feldhoff's first match in charge following Peter Zeidler's dismissal.
