This was after Pirates secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Cape Town City at Orlando Stadium yesterday.
Bucs had to come from behind after Khanyisa Mayo had netted the opener against the run of play.
They responded through Terrence Ddzvukamanja’s fifth goal of the season and Monnapule Saleng’s 10th in the league. Riveiro says the hunger of his players is keeping them on their toes currently.
"The challenge is nice. I want to find myself every season at this moment of the season fighting for important things, for the possibility to get more titles for this club. We are embracing this moment and we want to stay in this moment as much as possible," he said.
With four games to go, Pirates are in pole position to secure the second spot on the log as they are two points clear of third placed SuperSport United. They are also in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup and play arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs on the sixth of the next month.
With the form they are in now, Riveiro says they are going for everything in front of them.
"We have excellent players in every position, that's why they come in and contribute and make an impact. That's the way we want to continue as a group. We want to achieve something together and that motivation will push us until the end," he added.
Riveiro has also commended the players for showing some professionalism throughout the season, he says after playing 120 minutes of football action in the Nedbank Cup last weekend against Dondol Stars, it took a late from off the field for players to be in good shape for the next game.
"There are usually two factors, one is the way they train and the way they take care of themselves. Not only in the time that we spend together. In general, they take care of themselves and rest, all of those things help a lot especially since we are going to a tighter schedule now. The second thing is the results, when you get the results, you may not feel your legs but you want more. It's difficult to deal with a tight schedule when the results are bad and you are not optimistic about facing the next one," he concluded.
