This is how Pirates coach Jose Riveiro described their incredible run after they reached the MTN8 final, his third back-to-back Wafa-Wafa final.
They beat Cape Town City 3-1 on aggregate, following the comfortable 2-0 win at Orlando Stadium in the second leg of the semi-final.
Riveiro maintains that there's something special about his current group of players.
"Cup football is different than league football and the reasons why it's obvious, I don't need to describe it here and for whatever reason which is not only one, probably manly the talent of the guys is always there,” Riveiro said.
“Our approach is pretty much the same in each and every game but bring in something special probably in terms of mentality and ambition in these types of games that is taking us to the last games in each competition like you said it's our third MTN8 final in a row, we managed to be in the finals of the South African cup [Nedbank] as well."
Riveiro has yet to lose a cup final in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and could now go on to clinch a record third MTN8 title in a row.
The Spanish-born coach says this generation of Bucs players are writing their own history.
"Together, here we are playing a final every five months, something like that and that might be the average and it's something that is not really common. We are getting used to it, it's nice but at the same time we have to understand that it's not always possible to find yourself in the final even when you are a big club like Orlando Pirates,” he added.
“So, we need to enjoy these moments, the guys need to really realise what they are doing because they're writing a fantastic chapter in the club history so they must be proud, fans, players, family, everybody and yeah, let's keep going."
