Joselu emerged as the hero, netting twice to propel Carlo Ancelotti's side to the top of the table.
On loan from Espanyol, Joselu showcased his prowess with a clinical display, nodding Madrid into the lead in the first half before sealing the win with an early second-half strike. Ancelotti heaped praise on the striker, highlighting his invaluable contributions to the team.
"(Joselu) is doing everything he needs to stay here, he's doing spectacularly," Ancelotti remarked. "It's a blessing to have a player with this quality."
Madrid's dominance was evident throughout the match, with Vinicius Junior and Joselu posing constant threats to Getafe's defence. Despite their efforts, Getafe struggled to contain Madrid's attacking prowess, ultimately succumbing to defeat.
