Juventus star Federico Chiesa draws attention of Premier League giants

Federico Chiesa, and seven other Juventus players, have been told they can leave, and he has been linked with the likes of Tottenham, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

Despite his desire for a move to England, his agent, Fali Ramadani, has struggled to convince any club to meet Juventus' initial valuation of over £21million.

Consequently, Chiesa may be sold for as little as £12.8million, as he enters the final year of his contract with the Turin-based club.

Chiesa had a productive season, scoring 10 goals in 37 appearances for Juventus. However, the club's decision to part ways with him comes after a significant reshuffle in their managerial and squad setup.

Juventus won the Coppa Italia last season but finished third in Serie A behind AC Milan and Inter Milan.

This performance led to the dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri in May, with Thiago Motta, who enjoyed a successful tenure at Bologna, taking over as manager the following month.

The shake-up doesn't stop with Chiesa. Other players told they can leave include Weston McKennie, Arthur Melo, Wojciech Szczesny, Mattia De Sciglio, Daniele Rugani, Filip Kostic, and Hans Nicolussi-Caviglia.

McKennie has been linked with Aston Villa, while Arthur Melo, a former Liverpool loanee, and Szczesny, a former Arsenal goalkeeper, also face uncertain futures.

Chiesa's potential departure marks a significant moment in Juventus' ongoing transition.

While his links to Premier League clubs highlight his ambition, the financial constraints and contract situation make his exit a likely possibility.

As Thiago Motta looks to rebuild and put his stamp on the team, Juventus fans will be watching closely to see how these changes unfold in the coming weeks.
