Amakhosi recorded their fifth league defeat at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Speaking to the media after the match Youssef reflected on the team’s inconsistency.
"Defensive and offensive, every situation, when you have the ball, when you don't have the ball, when you lose the ball, when you recover the ball and every day, every week, we have to prepare all of this,” Youssef said.
“We don't just focus on defence or attack, every situation has to be focused on. When you said that when we played, the opponent team they make lot of aggression and had a lot of situations to score, I agree with you but if I give an example, every game you have to see how many situations you have.
“How many situations the opponent team had to score, if you find more than two situations we have a problem but the problem we have I will say we are unlucky. We are unlucky because all the opponent teams, they get one or two situations they score.
“They are so lucky but for us every single game, more than five, six situations, one v one with keeper, a lot of situations, it's expected a goal, more than one, so that's our problem.
“We are unlucky, we score, we don't score then one situation we concede."
Ben Youssef admits unhappiness with their inconsistent results, he assured supporters that they are working hard to change fortunes and find solutions, saying there is no time to rest.
"We don't have time, that's football every day, you win or you lose you have to prepare for the next game. If we win this game or we lose, we have to prepare now, and finish this game. We did what we had to do,” he added.
“For sure we are not happy about the situation but we are ready to prepare now, we'll take two days' rest then we'll come back to continue working.
“We believe [in] what we do, we know what we have to do. All the players believe in the capacity and they know what they have to do. We have to continue to work, there's no solution about working, to get results you have to work. We will continue working."
