Konrad Laimer unfazed by competition at Bayern Munich

Konrad Laimer has addressed his struggle for playing time at Bayern Munich, likening the intense competition to a "shark tank."

Despite having made only two starts under new coach Vincent Kompany, Laimer remains undeterred and committed to earning more minutes on the pitch.

During a recent press conference with the Austrian national team, Laimer acknowledged the challenge he faces, saying, "As a player, you always want to play.

"The situation is what it is. I'm playing for Bayern Munich, and you don't get to play by wishing for it."

He recognised the talent surrounding him, stating, "It's clear that there's a lot of competition, a lot of good players."

Nevertheless, the 26-year-old is resolute: "I want to fight my way through, and I know I have what it takes."

So far this season, Laimer has accumulated 198 minutes of action for Bayern, but he is determined to make his mark as the season progresses.
