With no FIFA break until March next year, the Betway Premiership fixture schedule is now in full swing – and it’s expected clubs with more numbers will cope better.
However, Seema says it’s not that straightforward.
"The depth is there but the depth also you have to see it at training because football is about relationships also so you might have those players but if those combinations are not coming together, you still have to wait longer. I'm happy to always have a healthy squad, a good pool to select from," Seema said.
An example of the possible rotations at Sekhukhune as matches pile up was already evident when goalkeeper Lloyd Kazapua replaced Ali Sangare in the 1-0 win over Cape Town City at the weekend.
Seema gave feedback on how the Namibian performed.
"It shows, as long as we are training as Sekhukhune United, the goalkeeping department, they are working hard and if the results are not there then the changes have to be made and we are happy with the way he performed. It shows why he's the goalkeeper of Sekhukhune United and yeah, I'm happy for him," he added.
Seema also handed a full league debut to midfielder Cameron Carnell, and the coach was happy with what he saw.
"Like I said, they will come, I like what I saw in young Carnell. They keep on getting the experience then we are trying to mix them, the young ones we are trying to mix them with the experienced ones.
“Tshepo [Mokoane] also came in, so they will come. I'm happy with his experience but like I said to you, Cape Town City was pushing us a lot and we had to react in a certain way and have answers."
