Having enjoyed a highly successful 2022/23 campaign under the guidance of their new manager, Erik ten Hag, the team clinched their first trophy since 2017, securing the Carabao Cup by defeating Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium in February.
Buoyed by their recent achievements, the Red Devils are determined to capitalise on their positive momentum.
To bolster their squad for the upcoming season, they have made several crucial signings in the transfer market.
Notable additions include goalkeeper Andre Onana, midfielder Mason Mount, and the anticipated arrival of striker Rasmus Hojlund, for whom a fee has been agreed.
Shaw has expressed the team's optimism about winning more silverware, attributing it to the strengthening of their squad through the summer acquisitions.
With a renewed sense of purpose and determination, Manchester United are gearing up for an ambitious and trophy-laden season ahead.
"I think we're all really excited. [It's all been] very positive and of course, after ending the season in disappointment [losing in the FA Cup final], I think we've got a lot to improve on this season," he told MUTV.
"Our aim from the start of the season has to be winning every single competition we're in and I feel like if we keep adding more strength to our squad, then why not?"
