Mamelodi Sundowns learn their fate in 2025 FIFA Club World Cup

While North Africans Al Ahly have been placed in group A with SE Palmeiras, FC Porto and Inter Miami.

Rulani Mokoena’s Wydad Casablanca will take on Premier League Champions, Manchester City, Serie A’s Juventus and Saudi Pro League’s, Al Ain FC.

Previously the tournament used to be played by only seven teams who were champions of their continental competitions every December, however the revamped Club World Cup will now feature 32 teams and will be played every four years from June/July of 2025.
