Martinez, who joined United from Ajax in 2022, has been a key player for the club and enjoyed a stellar career highlight by winning the Qatar World Cup with Argentina. Despite his importance, the club seems ready to entertain offers for the 25-year-old defender.
Under the management of Ruben Amorim, Martinez has featured in every game he has been available for, proving to be a central figure in the team.
The Argentine international has also praised Amorim's tactical approach and leadership style, suggesting a positive relationship between player and manager.
"It's the way I like to play, the way of playing football: the passion, the energy," Martinez told the United matchday programme.
"He has many, many good things. I think he demands what the club demands, which is good. I like his passion, his energy, the way he wants to play - good in possession, in defending. I think he's good - also the staff, the energy around [the place], it [has been] so good, yeah.
"I like the intensity, I like the energy. I like, for example, how he wants to play in possession and without possession as well. So, yeah, I feel great in this system."
Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Martinez's situation closely. The Spanish giants are dealing with defensive injury concerns and view Martinez as a potential solution to their problems.
Alongside Martinez, Real Madrid are also said to be considering Cristian Romero of Tottenham Hotspur as they look to bolster their defensive ranks.
While Martinez's future remains uncertain, Manchester United have identified three players as untouchable: Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Amad Diallo.
These young talents are viewed as integral to the club's long-term plans and are not for sale under any circumstances.
