The duo have found it tough at Chloorkop for different reasons – Nassir battling with injuries, while Mbule has also not enjoyed regular game time since his arrival.
Mngqithi was asked about both players' futures, and elaborated on Mbule's situation that could see him return to The Brazilians in the mid-season transfer window.
"Sometimes it surprises me when journalists don't know the news – I get worried. Nassir is not at Sundowns at the moment, and I think he's at SuperSport, I thought you would know that," said Mngqithi.
"Sipho Mbule's departure, I think, is good for the boy because I like him a lot and I believe he's got so much he can give us, so it will be very good for him to taste another environment, and he still has a chance to come back and help us.
"We were struggling with a lot of things, in terms of his physical condition, because when you are not playing regularly, you are always bound to either gain weight and have this and that issue.
"And then [when] you are given a chance, you get injured because maybe you are not getting as many games as you would have loved.
"But I still see him coming bak to Sundowns and claiming a place in this team. I think it will help him if he manages to play regularly for Sekhukhune, and I think we will benefit as a club.
"And he will also benefit because I believe he can help us towards the end [of the season] – maybe he will even go further in his career because he's a very good football player."
