Neuer's return to the pitch is a moment of triumph for the footballing world after he endured almost a year on the sidelines following a debilitating leg injury.
Coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed the news on Friday, declaring that the 37-year-old goalkeeper, who was part of the triumphant Germany squad in the 2014 World Cup, is ready to resume his role between the posts.
"As long as nothing happens in training, he will play tomorrow," said Tuchel.
"He is delighted, we are delighted, and others will probably be delighted too."
Neuer's absence from competitive play stretched back to last December when a skiing accident resulted in a broken leg, just days after representing Germany at the World Cup in Qatar.
Notably, Neuer's last appearance for Bayern Munich dates back to their victorious encounter with his former club, Schalke, on 12th November last year, just before the World Cup kicked off.
Despite the setback, Neuer continued to be a source of inspiration as he led Germany to the tournament in Qatar as captain, although the team's campaign ended prematurely in the group stage.
The skilled goalkeeper's injury required surgery in December, followed by an extensive rehabilitation process.
During his absence, Bayern Munich brought in Switzerland's Yann Sommer from Borussia Moenchengladbach to fill the void left by Neuer. However, Sommer's time with Bayern was short-lived as he departed for Inter Milan in the close season.
