Michael Baidoo a target for Foxes - report

Michael Baidoo is reportedly being scouted by newly promoted Premier League side Leicester City.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian midfielder currently plies his trade in the Allsvenskan for IF Elfsborg.

He has scored two goals in 10 games in all competitions, alongside one assist this season to keep up the kind of form that saw him win the Swedish's club's Player of the Season award last year, as they finished in second place on the league standings.

According to GHANASoccernet: "Baidoo is seen as a potential replacement for Nigerian midfielder, Wilfried Ndidi, who has popped up on the radar of other clubs."

Baidoo began his football journey with Ghana's Vision FC before joining the Midtjylland under 19 team. 

He was loaned to both FC Fredericia and Jerv, and it was with the latter where he began to thrive before ultimately sealing a permanent move.

A switch to Sandnes Ulf was to follow in 2021 and he subsequenty lifted their player of the season trophy.
