Mamelodi Sundowns chairman Tlhopane Motsepe has responded to the notion that no other DStv Premiership rival can compete with the Brazilians' financial muscle in the transfer market.
Downs on Friday finally confirmed one of the worst-kept secrets in local football when 24-year-old Sipho Mbule was unveiled as their new signing from SuperSport United.

SABC Sport understands that the club has also made an audacious offer to another midfielder in 29-year-old Bongani Zungu, who is currently a free agent.
However, Motsepe says the Chloorkop outfit have not been the only ones making big moves in recent times, suggesting that the PSL's sleeping giants have beaten Sundowns to some top players of their own.
"From what I can tell, there have been some very strong moves over the past two transfer windows, and they weren't necessarily always Sundowns players," argued Motsepe.
"When it comes to attracting talent to the football club, we don't necessarily always just use financial muscle or whatever, in terms of bringing players to the club.
"It's always about, what does the player want? We're very happy with the group of players here [and] the reason why we've won these [three] trophies is because they wanted to be at our football club, and they have proved themselves at this football club."
