On-form Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs attacker Kgaogelo Sekgota has described national teammate and Mamelodi Sundowns maestro Themba œMshishi Zwane as a œgenius.

Speaking to SABC Sport at the Chiefs Village in Naturena on Thursday, Sekgota says playing alongside Zwane for Bafana last month was an honour and believes the Sundowns star has all the attributes for young footballers to look up to.

œHe™s a good player, he™s a genius. I mean, you can see what he wants to do and he can also see what you want to do, he™s clever and well experienced, and a good role model to lick up to also, said Sekgota.

The 25-year-old is looking forward to linking up with Mshishi again at the national camp and, given his form, could very well be recalled by coach Hugo Broos for what may be a friendly international against Qatar-bound Algeria next month. But his focus, for now, remains on performing for his club.

œThe most important thing is to be happy where you are and anything can come in life, you need to challenge and overcome it. So, anything that comes on my plate, I appreciate, he added.

Meanwhile, with Amakhosi currently on a five-match unbeaten streak, the former FC Stumbras (Lithuania) and Vitória Setúbal (Portugal) winger is confident that, with the system deployed by coach Arthur Zwane is sure to continue producing favourable results.

œWorking with the coach [Arthur Zwane] and the system he plays, and the role that he plays for myself and all my teammates, I think we have a good chance at winning games, Sekgota said.
