Stellenbosch 2-1 Kruger United
Stellies were forced to dig deep and come from goal down before seeing off National First Division outfit Kruger United at the Danie Craven Stadium.
After a goalless first half, it was the visitors who took a shock lead when substitute Onyedikachi Ononogbu found the back of the net in the 54th minute.
The home side though flexed their muscles and equalised with 20 minutes remaining when Langelihle Phili beat visiting goalkeeper Zama Dlamini.
Stellenbosch then found the winning goal in the 75th minute when Devon Titus gave them the victory in the cup tie to make a winning return to the Dane Craven Stadium.
Magesi 0-2 SuperSpor United
Christian Saile scored on debut to help SuperSport beat Carling Knockout champions Magesi in their Nedbank Cup clash at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Vincent Pule had given Gavin Hunt's charges an early lead when the winger found the back of net in the fifth minute.
Saile, whose transfer from Kaizer Chiefs was announced just hours before the encounter, then made sure his new team will progress when the striker scored in the 51st minute.
Amazulu 5-1 Mighty Eagles
Sandile Mthethwa scored a hat-trick as Amazulu thrashed ABC Motsepe League side Might Eagles at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
Usthu were 3-0 ahead in the first 30 minutes of the contest with Mthethwa opening scoring before Mlondi Mbanjwa and Etiosa Ighodaro also found the back of the net.
The visitors pulled a goal back in the second half but Mthethwa added a second with 10 minutes remaining before the defender completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot just before full-time.
