Nuno Espirito Santo praises hard work after Forest victory

Manager Nuno Espirito Santo, reflecting on the match, emphasized the team's hard work and the challenges of the league. "It feels good. We work very hard to achieve what we have," Nuno said to media.

"Today was a tough game. Wolves had chances and Matz Sels was amazing to keep us in the game. I'm really proud of the work ethic of the players and the desire to go in front and score."

Despite the impressive run, Nuno remains grounded, aware of the long road ahead. "We need to stay humble. We haven't achieved anything yet, we need to work until the end and this can lead us to good moments," he added.

His side's performance has now matched the point tally of Leicester City at the same stage during their surprise title-winning season in 2015/16.

Nuno's focus is not just on the immediate next game against Liverpool but also on the upcoming FA Cup match against Luton Town. "My ambition is always the same," he stated, highlighting his commitment to player development.

"If we improve the players than the team will improve and if the team improve than the club will improve and the city will be happy."

The confidence within the squad is palpable, as noted by Nuno when discussing players like Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga. "The performance and the results help with confidence, you saw Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga today, they were confident and creating many problems," he concluded, looking forward to the challenges ahead in both league and cup competitions.
