The announcement came during a press conference on Friday, just ahead of their upcoming Bundesliga match against Union Berlin today.
Adeyemi, who had been in sensational form, scoring a hat-trick in Dortmund's impressive 7-1 victory over Celtic, was forced off the pitch after sustaining an injury.
Sahin lamented the loss of his star forward, stating, "Karim Adeyemi and Julien Duranville will be out for a while. We expect them back after the international break in November."
The coach also reported that Reyna had encountered a setback, adding to the team's injury troubles.
Despite the bad news, there was a silver lining as Donyell Malen prepared to return to training following a bout of illness.
Sahin reflected positively on the emphatic win over Celtic, emphasising its importance. "I value the Celtic game very, very highly. A 7-1 win should never be taken for granted," he noted.
However, he acknowledged the need for quick focus on the upcoming challenges, stating, "Union Berlin are a difficult opponent, and we must learn to enjoy winning while moving on quickly."
With the next match looming, Sahin's squad must adapt and stay resilient amidst the injury crisis.
