Masinde, which is Onyango™s first name, is part of a series of movies the club has done over the last few months to honour past and present players that have achieved iconic status.

The movie will feature the 37-year-old™s family members, close friends and the village where he grew up before emerging to be the household name that he is today.

"First of all, I want to thank Sundowns for giving me the opportunity and platform and, of course, being able to record my movie called Masinde, which is coming up on Sundowns TV - you can subscribe on Sundowns YouTube Channel and watch it on Sunday, 31 July," said Onyango.

"It's all about the life of Denis Onyango, how he came to South Africa, what he has achieved and how he has made it this far. "I think the story coming out will tell everyone how difficult it has been and how I've made it look simple and easy.

"So, please watch Masinde on Sunday, it's very interesting and I think it will also be very inspirational for the young ones out there."
