The Moroccan international would be thrilled to return to Real Madrid, although the feasibility of such a move is currently uncertain.
Despite coming through the Real Madrid youth academy, Hakimi did not receive significant opportunities at the club.
After limited appearances during the 2017/18 season, the 24-year-old enjoyed successful loan spells at Borussia Dortmund for two seasons.
Upon his return, Real Madrid chose to sell him to Inter Milan in 2020. However, just a year later, PSG invested heavily to secure his services.
Hakimi has made nearly 80 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions, contributing to 20 goals.
It is understood that the right-back does not feel entirely comfortable at Parc des Princes and believes that the club have not supported him during recent challenging periods.
As a result, he is open to a departure from the club in the summer, with a potential return to Real Madrid proving enticing for the defender.
While Real Madrid are not prioritising the signing of a new right-back for the summer, reports suggest that Carlo Ancelotti aims to strengthen both full-back positions or acquire a player capable of playing on either side.
However, a move for Hakimi appears unlikely for Real Madrid at the moment.
The player is under contract with PSG until 2026, and negotiations seem improbable due to the strained relationship between the two clubs.
