RB Leipzig secure Arthur Vermeeren on loan from Atletico Madrid

The 19-year-old central midfielder has been officially unveiled as Leipzig's latest signing.

The deal sees Vermeeren join on loan, with a purchase obligation set to activate after he reaches a specified number of appearances.

RB Leipzig's managing director for sport, Marcel Schafer, expressed his excitement about the acquisition. "We are thrilled that such a highly talented young player has chosen RB Leipzig.

"Our club has closely monitored Arthur's impressive progress over the years. His professional debut in Belgium at just 17, coupled with his pivotal role in Royal Antwerp's domestic cup, championship, and Supercup victories, has been exceptional."
