Ceballos, who was linked with moves to Atletico Madrid and Real Betis, has chosen to fight for his place in the team, especially following Eduardo Camavinga's recent injury.
This decision comes as Real Madrid have trimmed its first-team squad compared to last season.
The club have seen the exits of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Nacho Fernandez, Toni Kroos, and Joselu Mato, while Kylian Mbappé and Endrick Felipe have joined the squad.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti has stated that the club is "closed for business," meaning no further signings or sales will occur involving the first team.
Given that Real Madrid cannot afford any more player departures, Ceballos' commitment to staying and his willingness to fight for a starting spot will be well received by the club's management.
As the new season approaches, Ceballos is anticipated to see more playing time than in previous seasons, offering him a chance to make a significant impact and solidify his place in Ancelotti's plans.
