Report: Jonathan Tah to attract widespread interest when Leverkusen contract ends

Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah is expected to receive offers from several top European clubs when his contract expires next summer.

At 28 years old, Tah's free-agent status is reportedly generating significant interest, with clubs in Italy, Spain, England, and Germany closely monitoring the situation.

The Bundesliga winner was on the brink of a move to Bayern Munich last summer, but a disagreement over transfer fees between Die Roten and Leverkusen caused the deal to fall through.

Despite the setback, Tah has confirmed he will leave Leverkusen at the end of the season on a free transfer.

Inter Milan are particularly keen to secure Tah's services as part of their efforts to rejuvenate their defence.

However, there is uncertainty over whether they can convince the defender to join, given the strong interest from other clubs.

Several Premier League giants, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Manchester United, are also tracking Tah's availability.

The lure of higher wages in England could tip the scales in favour of a Premier League move.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are also keeping tabs on Tah, who is seen as a bargain due to his experience and free-agent status.
