Report: Man Utd target OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo

This move comes in the wake of Raphael Varane's departure from Manchester United on a free transfer earlier this summer.

With the team's defensive vulnerabilities evident last season, reinforcing the backline is a top priority.

Todibo, being at the peak of his powers, is eager to prove himself at the highest level and could establish himself as a key player for the club.

Furthermore, Todibo's transfer is likely to be more cost-effective compared to Branthwaite, making him an attractive option for Manchester United.
