Report: PSG gazump Chelsea to Uruguay midfielder Manuel Ugarte signature

Ugarte is in Paris for a medical as reported by Fabrizio Romano and will arrive for a ‚¬60m fee after Chelsea pulled out of the deal late last night. The 22-year-old was open to a move to Chelsea, but PSG have offered more and Chelsea were not willing to budge.

Meanwhile, Marco Asensio has also been signed by PSG, ending a nine-year association with Real Madrid and leaves a free agent on a contract that expires in 2027.
