The young winger, who was recently dropped from the starting line-up by United manager Ruben Amorim during a crucial Premier League match against Manchester City, has since returned to the squad.
His return contrasts with teammate Marcus Rashford, who also faced a temporary omission.
Reports from Calciomercato suggest that Napoli, under the stewardship of Antonio Conte, have reached an agreement in principle with Garnacho for a January transfer.
However, Manchester United have placed a hefty valuation on the player, demanding no less than 70 million pounds.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly reluctant to meet this price tag during the upcoming transfer window, adding a layer of uncertainty to the potential deal.
Despite the financial hurdle, Garnacho appears keen on a move to Naples. Sources claim he is even willing to accept a lower wage than his current earnings at Old Trafford to facilitate the transfer.
The player's openness to a reduced salary reflects his interest in exploring opportunities under Conte's management.
"That is clear. He has talent. He needs to learn to play in a different position. He needs to play better inside," said Amorim, when asked about Garnacho.
"He improves a lot in the recovering position when he doesn't have the ball. But doing that, sometimes he's not in the right place to make transitions like he was in the past. I prefer to defend and then build up with all the team to reach the final third.
"He's finding the best way to play in this system. He's improving during training. He started the last game. Let's see tomorrow. I think he changed the way he sees himself."
