Ruthless Orlando Pirates thrash Disciples in CAF Champions League clash

The match, held at Orlando Stadium, saw the Buccaneers dominate their opponents after a goalless draw in the first leg in Mauritius.

The scoring opened early, with Tshegofatso finding the back of the net in the 9th minute, setting the tone for the rest of the match.

The home side doubled their lead in the 24th minute when Relebohile Mofokeng expertly converted a pass from Patrick Maswanganyi.

The Pirates continued their relentless attack, with Tito adding a third before halftime, stunning the crowd with a spectacular long-range shot.

Despite several disallowed goals for offside in the second half, the Buccaneers maintained their control over the game.

The final blow came in the dying minutes when Karim Kimvuidi deftly chipped the ball over the Disciples' keeper, sealing a 4-0 victory.

This dominant performance sees Orlando Pirates advance to the next round of the CAF Champions League, where they will face the winner between Jwaneng Galaxy and African Stars.
