Sead Ramovic reflects on failed Raja Casablanca move

TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic says the Raja Casablanca story is a closed chapter for him, and he has moved on.

Speaking exclusively to SABC Sport in Mbombela, the Serbian has confirmed that his potential employers were against him bringing his backroom staff – two assistants and a goalkeeper coach.

Ramovic stated that loyalty to his colleagues made him not to sign with the Botola Pro League outfit as he could not go back on his word with his colleagues – this after the North Africans insisted he comes alone.

"I can only say that Raja Casablanca is a beautiful club with unbelievably great supporters but all in all what I always say, God knows that I have to be to myself loyal. I have to be with myself with the same principles, I have to live by these kind of values because I have a group, they are behind me and if I just get one opportunity then the demands was not what I want,” Ramovic said.

“I need my staff because my staff will help me to get success and if my staff is not with me, if I have to go alone there, it's not the values, it's not what I represent but it doesn't have anything to do with the club, I wish them all the best. It's just an amazing club and I wish they can win again the league and the cup."

Ramovic says they are now focused on the road ahead with TS Galaxy where he still needs to beef up his side for the upcoming season.

"For us, it's now to focus, the expectation is again to reach the top 8 spot, hopefully, but it's very tough because we sold again three players to one of the biggest clubs in our league but we will try to get from the academy again to improve them and hopefully we can continue to play exciting football."
