Senegal international Dion Lopy joins Almeria from Reims

Lopy is a powerful midfielder with ball-winning skills. He comes from French club Stade Reims and will rock the Rojiblanco jersey until June 2029

The 21-year-old is Almeria's third summer signing for the coming 2023/24 season after the recruits of Luis Suárez and Édgar González. Despite his young age, Lopy has been a sought-after player in the transfer window. In just two campaigns at the Stade Reims, in the French Ligue 1, he has claimed to be a holding midfielder of great physical power, although he is a very complete footballer.
