Six Man Utd players set to enter free agency

Several Manchester United players are free to negotiate pre-contract agreements with other clubs ahead of their contracts expiring in June 2025.

Among those affected are Amad, Harry Maguire, Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans, Victor Lindelof, and Tom Heaton.

Amad's situation is particularly notable, with United not triggering a one-year extension on his contract.

The 22-year-old has been a key figure for United, starting in 10 of the last 13 games and scoring the winner in the recent Manchester derby.

Head coach Ruben Amorim recently stated that âœUnited will find a solution❠to extend Amad's stay, and the winger is eager to sign a new deal.

Victor Lindelof, meanwhile, had his one-year extension activated in December, but with injury concerns and limited future prospects, he is expected to be sold in the summer.

Similarly, Maguire, 31, has had a resurgence in recent weeks, but his £200,000 per week wages may prevent a long-term extension.

Jonny Evans, who turns 37 soon, is nearing retirement unless his contract is extended, while Eriksen, 33, has struggled for game time recently and could leave in the summer.

Finally, 38-year-old Heaton, who has not played for United since February 2023, is also facing an uncertain future.
