Stuttgart calm amid Sebastian Hoeness exit rumours

VfB Stuttgart's sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth recently addressed growing rumours linking head coach Sebastian Hoeness with potential moves to Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund.

Despite the speculation, Stuttgart have seemed unconcerned, especially following their 2-0 defeat to Atalanta in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Speaking after the match, Wohlgemuth played down the reports, underscoring the strong relationship between Stuttgart and Hoeness.

"There have been a lot of speculation and revelations in recent weeks," Wohlgemuth said. "This is no reason for us to doubt the strong and good relationship between the club and the coach."

He dismissed the rumours as containing "a lot of speculation with an indefinable amount of truth," adding, "We're not worrying too much about thatâ”at least not at the moment."

Stuttgart's immediate focus remains on their upcoming Bundesliga fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, where Hoeness will aim to guide his team back to winning ways.

His successful tenure has naturally attracted attention, but Stuttgart appear intent on maintaining stability as they push forward in both domestic and European competitions.

Meanwhile, Stuttgart have reportedly joined the pursuit of Bayern Munich's 19-year-old forward Mathys Tel.

The young French talent has sparked interest across several clubs, with Nottingham Forest, Werder Bremen, Borussia Monchengladbach, and Augsburg also interested in a loan deal.

According to Sport Bild, Stuttgart are prepared to make a move in January if conditions align, hoping to add Tel's firepower to their squad.

Tel, however, has shown little enthusiasm for a temporary departure from Bayern, despite clocking just 224 minutes in seven matches this season under coach Vincent Kompany.

The young forward's desire to fight for his spot in Munich could complicate Stuttgart's ambitions, as they assess potential reinforcements to support their campaign in the months ahead.
