Super Eagles legend Martins backs Osimhen to shine at Manchester United

Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray, has been in scintillating form for the Turkish Super Lig side. His contributions - 10 goals so far this season - have helped propel Galatasaray to the top of the league standings. He trails only Istanbul BaÃ…ŸakÃ…Ÿehir's Krzysztof Piatek, who leads the scoring chart with 12 goals.

Martins, who made a name for himself in the Premier League with Newcastle United, spoke to Africafoot about Osimhen's qualities, describing him as the perfect addition to Manchester United's squad.

"If he joins Manchester United, everything will change, especially in how they score goals. He has speed, power, and is one of the best finishers in Europe, proving it season after season," said Martins.

Osimhen has become one of the most sought-after players in the January transfer window, with multiple clubs- including Chelsea - reportedly vying for his signature.

Despite the widespread interest, reports have emerged suggesting that Osimhen has turned down an offer from Manchester United.

The 24-year-old striker is reportedly keen to see out the season with Galatasaray as they aim to secure the Super Lig title.

Should the move to Old Trafford materialize in the future, Martins is certain Osimhen's explosive pace, clinical finishing, and ability to lead the line could address Manchester United's need for a reliable striker and bolster their attacking options significantly.

For now, Osimhen's focus remains on continuing his excellent form for Galatasaray and helping them achieve their goals.
