Amakhosi put four past Goss last weekend to eliminate them from the Carling Knockout, with the Tshwane outfit then losing 2-0 away to Orlando Pirates in the Betway Premiership a few days later.
Goss admits some of the goals conceded were soft, as he looks for an improved performance at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
"It's been just a patch – I think our last clean sheet was against TS Galaxy or Royal AM, if I'm not mistaken, and obviously we've conceded six in the last two games," acknowledged Goss.
"That's never a good statistic for any goalkeeper – even against Pirates, I feel like I could have done better, but it's just a matter of going through one of those runs as a player, where you just concede and some [goals] are just too good to be stopped."
The Bafana Bafana shot stopper doesn’t believe they were outplayed by Chiefs, despite the flattering score line.
"I just feel like, against Chiefs, had we scored first, it would have been a different game. However, it's a cup game, so once you concede, you're going to chase the game and once you chase the game, there are a lot of spaces," he added.
"And they capitalised on that, and four goals was a lot – it was a lot."
