Khumalo, who had been with Gallants following their acquisition of Moroka Swallows' top-flight status, became the ninth addition for the Rockets in this transfer window, which is set to close on 20 September 2024.
The news was confirmed on Galaxy's X feed where they stated, "Welcome to the family! Owethu Khumalo, We're thrilled to have your skills and passion on our team. Let's make some magic and create great memories together!"
The 22-year-old striker had previously been part of Moroka Swallows' setup, making five league appearances during the 2023/24 season.
He also featured in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) side, showcasing his potential under the watchful eye of coach Steve Komphela.
Khumalo's professional debut came on 11 November 2023 in a goalless draw against Polokwane City FC.
Khumalo joins a host of new signings at TS Galaxy, including Emanuel Seih, Siphesihle Maduna, and Victor Letsoalo.
The talented forward had also previously played for The Kingâs College, Bryanston Warriors, and Randburg FC before his professional journey with Swallows.
This move signalled TS Galaxy's intent to build a formidable team for the upcoming campaign.
