After a stellar season in which they won the Botola Pro League and finished the campaign undefeated, the Raja are reportedly on the look for a new coach amid speculation over Josef Zinnbauer's future.
Speaking to SABC Sport after his side played to a 2-2 draw against Eswatini’s Mbabane Swallows in the Mpumalanga Premier’s International Cup on Saturday, Ramovic remained coy about his future and insisted he would not follow Rulani Mokwena to Casablanca.
"I'm a coach for this beautiful club, TS Galaxy, and if I can make a little bit ironic, I heard an interview where my special friend Rulani said the players from Sundowns called him and started crying, and their kids and wives also cried," said Ramovic.
"I don't want to go there because I'm afraid the Sundowns players will also cry, and then their kids and wives will also cry, so it's not good when they cry.
"So let's stay in a peaceful way, we are happy about him [moving to Casablanca], I am still here and everything is fine."
With the Mpumalanga Premier’s International Cup a pre-season tournament to prepare for the all-important 2024/25 PSL season, Ramovic defended that results were not the focus following their stalemate with Eswatini's Swallows.
"For me, the most important thing is not the result now, it's more about putting focus on our efforts and behaviour, so it means I want – as I always say – us to be excellent everyday," he added.
"If you start performing everyday on your excellent level, you will get this habit and that is what we want. Everything you do, you have to do at your best.
"To be a great soccer player, it means focus and intensity everyday at training, doing your job everyday and being excellent everyday in everything you do.
"We should not focus on the result, but focus instead on what you can do on the field everyday, which is the best advice I can give to our players."
