Turkey international Ferdi Kadioglu joins Brighton on four-year deal from Fenerbahce

Brighton have completed a swoop for Fenerbahce's Turkey international full-back Ferdi Kadioglu for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old, who began his career in the Netherlands with NEC Nijmegen and has been capped 20 times by his country, has agreed a four-year contract which will commit him to the Premier League club until June 2028, subject to international clearance and a successful work permit application.

Seagulls head coach Fabian Hurzeler said: "I'm very excited because we are getting an excellent player and a great character. He has great ability, is a strong runner and very good at passing.

"He is predominantly a full-back and can play on the right or left side; he can also play in the centre of midfield.

"He is someone who is very keen to learn and develop and with that in mind, Iâ™m confident he will adjust to the Premier League and adapt quickly to English football."

Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, subject to a work permit and international clearance.

The 23-year-old will remain at Valencia for the rest of the season before moving to Anfield ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Mamardashvili has won 21 caps for Georgia and made 102 appearances for Valencia since arriving from Dinamo Tbilisi in 2021.

Chelsea have agreed the signing of 19-year-old goalkeeper Mike Penders from Belgian side Genk.

Penders will join the Blues next summer on a contract until 2032.

Penders, a Belgium Under-19 international, only made his senior debut for Genk last month against Standard Liege, keeping a clean sheet in a goalless draw.

He will remain with Genk in the Belgian top flight for the rest of the season.
