Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan after a tense transfer negotiation with Napoli, revealed his stance in a recent statement, easing the minds of fans and ending the hopes of interested clubs.
The 25-year-old striker has quickly found his form in Turkey, making headlines with two goals against Tottenham Hotspur in a thrilling 3-2 Europa League win on Thursday night.
Despite four clubs reportedly prepared to meet his substantial £75 million release clause, Osimhen has assured supporters he would remain with Galatasaray until the summer.
"They are talking about January. I am here until the end of the season," Osimhen said, as reported by Nexus Sports.
"I don't know what Galatasaray and Napoli are planning after that, but we'll discuss it when the time comes. This is a club I really like."
His statement has effectively sidelined any potential January bids, with insider Buchi Lamba noting that while several teams are eager to pay the release fee, Osimhen's loyalty to Galatasaray means he will not consider a move until the summer.
For now, Osimhen's dedication to the Turkish giants is clear, and his presence is expected to be instrumental in Galatasaray's campaign this season.
