The 25-year-old Nigerian striker enjoyed a phenomenal year as he led Napoli to their first Serie A title since the 1989/90 season, and for just the third in the club's history.
Osimhen was named African footballer of the year for his efforts but says claiming an AFCON title could be his biggest success to date.
The Super Eagles started their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea, with Osimhen on target, and they next face hosts Ivory Coast on Thursday.
The striker told AFP: "It would be one of the best moments of my life.
"I have done that with Napoli, I have made history, but no matter what I do, no matter how many goals I have scored, to be able to win the AFCON, I would go a long way in my life but probably when I do that I am done.
"I am really looking forward to winning something with the Super Eagles."
An ambitious Osimhen added: "I have aimed high all my life, while growing up, and this pressure comes naturally. I am the kind of person who doesnt fold under pressure.
"As the pressure comes I take it into my head to try to give my best and do well for myself.
"The first game was really disappointing.
"Going forward we need to make sure we get it right in the next game, which is against a tougher opponent."
