Golden Arrows co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi described their performance against Swallows FC as "near-perfect" as they emphatically beat the Soweto side at Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday.
The home side were two goals up by halftime thanks to Nduduzo Sibiya and the in-form Pule Mmodi, and doubled that tally in the second half with Sibiya again among the goals before Nqobeko Dlamini added his name to the scoresheet.
With the victory, Arrows moved into the top eight and Vilakazi says they exploited the Dube Birds weak areas following wholesale changes made by his counterpart Dylan Kerr, whose job security is now in danger.

"We knew very well that we would create scoring opportunities, even though we didn't know we would score four because we haven't been consistent enough in terms of converting our chances into goals," Vilakazi told the media in his post-match interview.
"But I'm very happy with the performance today and because we were clinical in front of goal, because we're always creating scoring opportunities but fail to convert them into goals.
"Today it happened, and also the plus is that we had a clean sheet, which is much more important - in our previous game we were sleeping against Sundowns, and our defensive structure was spot on but for a lack of concentration in crucial areas and conceding an own goal.
"So in terms of going forward, we can take comfort that defensively, hopefully, we won't be conceding goals and make sure that, when we're playing at home, we dominate and take advantage of home advantage and try to score more."
