Vincent Kompany's impact at Bayern Munich earns praise despite setbacks

Vincent Kompany has quickly impressed the Bayern Munich hierarchy just nine games into his tenure as head coach of the Bundesliga side.

Club president Herbert Hainer has been vocal in his admiration for the Belgian manager, highlighting the attractive football Bayern have showcased under Kompany's leadership.

"We are incredibly happy with our coach, Vincent Kompany," Hainer told BR. "Everyone, from Max Eberl to Uli Hoeness and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, is thrilled because we're seeing an incredibly exciting style of football.

"We haven't witnessed that at FC Bayern for years."

Despite being level on points with RB Leipzig after six Bundesliga matches, Bayern have recently struggled, failing to win in their last three competitive fixtures.

However, Hainer remains optimistic, especially with upcoming challenges against VfB Stuttgart and FC Barcelona.

"I'm not worried at all," he added. "With the way we play, we'll win those games.

"We could have easily beaten Aston Villa and Eintracht Frankfurt."

Bayern fans will be keen to see if Kompany's tactics can turn results around after the international break.
