West Ham boss David Moyes lauds new signing Mohammed Kudus

West Ham manager David Moyes has praised Mohammed Kudus for the speed at which he has adapted to life in the Premier League.

West Ham manager David Moyes has praised Mohammed Kudus for the speed at which he has adapted to life in the Premier League.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder joined the Hammers from Ajax this season.

He has one goal from his seven league matches played (and three in all competitions) and made his first start, playing the full 90 minutes, in the narrow 1-0 loss to Everton at the weekend.

A happy Moyes said on Ghanasoccernet: "It can take a few months for anybody to adapt, whether they're doing well or not. I think Mo has settled in well though. He started against Everton and did well.

"He's young and we're not pushing too hard or asking for too much too soon. I think he could be a midfield player, but could also play off the right or up front for us. I think all those positions are important for us because it gives us a variation."

Kudus is expected to start for the Hammers against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
