Speaking on Metro FM’s Sport Night Amplified with Andile on Thursday night, the ex-Orlando Pirates star said he was informed by team manager Njabulo Sukazi, daughter of chairman Tim Sukazi, that his services were no longer required.
Mlambo claims he was unfairly treated.
''It was a very difficult subject when it all started, but I am at peace with what happened. When I left TS Galaxy I was approached and confronted to say the coach says you are no longer part of his plans and they are terminating the contract. I had a two year contract with TS Galaxy,'' said Mlambo.
The 32-year-old believes his troubles started when he was told his relationship with coach Sead Ramovic had broken down after one of the club’s fun events.
“When the season ended, they then contacted me to say - you are no longer part of the plan, apparently your relationship with the coach has been broken.
“The last training session I had with TS Galaxy was at a football tennis fun day, we were playing football tennis and the coach was cheating us.
“After the training session we prayed, Tim Sukazi was there on the day. Nothing was said, or called in for a hearing if maybe I disobeyed the coach for cheating us when we were playing tennis,'' added Mlambo.
Mlambo feels he was targeted by Ramovic, who was determined to force him out of the club.
''What really got to me, it's the remarks to the technical team when we were playing, he would say I will fire you and all that. I have seen it happen when someone does not agree with the coach and they find themselves without employment,'' said Mlambo.
The player also added that he has lost respect for chairman Sukazi.
