The Buccaneers have surprisingly allowed 26-year-old Lepasa to leave midway through the season and potentially strengthen a direct rival in the DStv Premiership.
Bhasera rates the forward’s ability and believes he will greatly assist the team's goal-scoring during his short-term spell until the end of the current season.
"A very, very, very good signing. I met him [Wedmesday] and welcomed him to the club, he's a very good addition to the team, and we know what he's capable of," said Bhasera.
"He can bang those goals and create [scoring opportunities], so we're looking forward and that's what we need – we need to get more goals in there, and, of course, us [defenders], try to make sure we shut it at the back [then] we're definitely going to win games and work very hard."
SuperSport face Cape Town City for the second time in just over a month on Saturday, and with the two sides not enjoying the best results at the moment this is a tricky fixture.
"They do have a quality squad, and struggling? I don't think they're struggling, there's always that momentum in football, where you can always lose it but, to be fair, they haven't been playing that badly, they're just unfortunate," he added.
"So, definitely it's not going to be an easy game on Saturday, they'll come guns blazing to redeem themselves, but we also want to redeem [form], we're playing at home after we drew with Swallows, and we're looking forward to winning our home game now.
"You know, in this league, if you don't win your home matches, trust me, it's going to be tough for you. So, we're going to have to try and get maximum points.
"The last time we played at home [against] Richards Bay, so this week we're looking forward to getting maximum points, the guys know what our goal is and where we want to finish in the league."
