Cricket South Africa (CSA) has contracted a total number of 15 Momentum Proteas players for 2022/23 season, under the similar system introduced in 2021.

After exiting the 50-over showpiece in the semi-final in New Zealand early this year, the Proteas Women are bracing themselves for a tour to Ireland for three T20 internationals and three One-Day Internationals in June ahead of a multi-format tour against England set to undergo between 25 June - 27 July.

The South African Ladies are also preparing themselves for very exciting journey as they will embark to the ICC T20 Women™s Cricket World Cup, hosted in South Africa in February 2023.

Having been consistent in the recent Proteas Women squads Tazmin Brits the batter, and left-arm spinner, Nonkululeko Mlaba are among the player who received their maiden national contracts.

CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki congratulated them: œOn behalf of CSA, congratulations to Tazmin Brits and Nonkululeko Mlaba on their newly-awarded contracts. Their dedication and work on and off the field has not gone unnoticed and these contracts are a reward for their contributions.
