The Dutch have famously beaten South Africa in the last two ICC events, knocking them out of the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia before again prevailing in the league phase of the 50-over tournament in India last year.
The expanded 20-team tournament will start on 1 June at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas when co-hosts USA take on Canada.
The Proteas open their campaign against Sri Lanka in New York on 3 June and will stat at the same venue for their next two fixtures against the Dutch (8 June) and Bangladesh (10 June).
The will then travel to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to take on Nepal on 14 June with only the top two teams in each of the four groups will qualify for the Super 8s before the knockout stages.
New York will host the blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan on 9 June in of eight matches that will be played at the venue.
Defending champions England will begin their title defence on Tuesday 4 June in Barbados against Scotland and 2022 finalists, Pakistan, will get their challenge going on Thursday 6 June, when they play the USA in Dallas.
First-time Qualifiers Uganda will play their first ever ICC Men's T20 World Cup fixture in Guyana against Afghanistan on Monday, 3 June.

Group C: New Zealand, the West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda and Papua New Guinea
