Chasing a target of 154, the visitors powered to the total with only two wickets down with captain Laura Wolvaardt, Anneke Bosch and player-of-the-match Annerie Dercksen starring with the willow.
Wolvaardt struck 45 off 37 balls, Bosch contributed 46 off 37 while Dercksen remained unbeaten on 44 from just 23 deliveries as the Proteas reached the target with nine balls to spare.
Earlier, the tourists restricted Pakistan to 153-5 in their 20 overs with the Proteas bowlers all chipping in to keep the target to a respectable level.
Spinner Chloe Tryon had a spell 1-23 in her four overs while Sune Luus was economical and only went for 18 runs in her alloted overs.
The Proteas Women will now head off to the United Arab Emirates for the T20 World Cup that kicks off on 3 October.
Wolvaardt's charges have been grouped with Bangladesh, England, Scotland and West Indies with the top two making the semifinals.
