SA20: David Miller hails Dinesh Karthik's impact at Paarl Royals

In his debut season with the Royals, Karthik has made a significant impact, scoring 97 runs across six innings.

His standout performance came in a match against the Joburg Super Kings, where he scored a crucial 53 runs.

Karthik's wealth of experience serves as a guiding influence in the locker room, especially for younger players.

Miller has noted that while the SA20 league presents unique challenges, Karthik's presence offers stability and direction, helping the team navigate through tough moments.

"He has played for 20 years at the highest level and has vast experience. The knowledge and wisdom he has is great for the youngsters," Miller told PTI.

Despite the recent departure of Joe Root for international duties, Miller remains optimistic about the team's prospects.

He acknowledges that replacing Root's calibre is a tough task, but believes the Royals have the versatility and adaptability to handle transitions effectively.
